Can I visit the Archives and Special Collections?

Items from Queen Mary's Archives and Special Collections can be viewed in the Archives Reading Room located in Mile End Library. Everyone is welcome to visit. This includes students, staff and the public. There is no requirement to have a "serious research question" - you can come and see things just because you are interested.
We are open by appointment Monday-Thursday 9.30am-1pm & 2-4.30pm with the exception of bank holidays and other advertised closures. To book a visit just email archives@qmul.ac.uk. Please give us a minimum of two working days notice from your preferred appointment date.
If you are a visitor to Queen Mary University of London we will take this into account when arranging your appointment and we will arrange your access to Queen Mary's Mile End Campus where we are located.
