What should I do when an e-resource isn't working?

Answer

First, make sure you're accessing the article, journal, e-book or database via the Library website. This will make sure your access is authenticated.

Sometimes you'll then need to use your Queen Mary IT credentials to sign in. Double-check you are using the correct username and password. You could also check the access pages as a small number of e-resources require additional registration on first-use.

If you have accessed through the website, and used the correct credentials but the resource still isn't working, or the link is broken, then you can submit the details in the e-resources contact form. We'll take a look at the issue and get back to you promptly.
