How do I book a group study room?

Mile End Library and The Hive

Queen Mary students can book a Library Services group study room at Mile End Library or The Hive using our online booking system LibCal. This can also be accessed from the 'Desk Availability' tab on the Queen Mary app.

  • Rooms are bookable up to 7 days in advance
  • Rooms are bookable for up to 3 hours at a time

The Graduate Centre

The Graduate Centre 7th Floor group study rooms are for postgraduate students only and require a minimum of 24 hours notice on weekdays and 72 hours on weekends. These are also booked using LibCal.

  • Rooms are bookable for up to 4 hours at a time

 

Step 1

Select the space you want to book:

Step 2

Choose the room you want to book:

  • Blue slots = available
  • Red slots = unavailable

Step 3

  • Select the start time slot for the room you want to book

  • Select an end time from the drop down underneath the slots

  • Click 'Submit'

 

Step 4

  • Agree to the terms and conditions
  • Enter your personal details, using your @qmul.ac.uk email

Step 5

  • You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your booking
  • On the day of the booking you need to check-in within 30 minutes of the start of your booking
    • Scan the QR code on the door or click the link in your email to check-in
