How can I access/search databases and e-journals?
Answer
Queen Mary offers students and staff a range of books, journals and databases in online formats.
The best way to find these is using the search box on the Library Services' home page, the E-Journals by Subject and the A-Z Databases list pages. These links can also be found on the menu bar of Library Search.
You can find out about databases relevant to your subject using our Subject Guides. Contact Academic Skills on academicskills@qmul.ac.uk for more guidance on using databases.
To login to most online resources you will need to use your IT username and password. There are certain resources which will require special logins or require you to register your individual account on first use. Please visit Library Services E-Resource Logins webpage for details.
If you are searching for articles online outside the Queen Mary catalogue, you may want to use the LibKey browser extension to show where we have a subscription to the resource.
