Can Resit Out of Attendance (ROA) and deferred students access the Library and borrow books?

Yes, ROA and deferring students can access the Library and borrow up to 6 items.

Their access and rights should be extended by an automated report on Sierra, but their ID cards will have their original expiry date. Their updated information should automatically be pulled into Juno when they swipe into the library.
Procedure
There can be a delay between the student receiving confirmation from the University that they can ROA and their data being updated on SITS and synced to Sierra. If you have any students with card issues at the Welcome Desk:
- Check that their barcode and HID are correct
- Check their account is not blocked
- Check that their expiry date has been updated
If their card still does not work, ask them to complete the one day pass application form and allow a day ticket for entry. Forward the details of the student to Jade.
