Can students who have interrupted their studies access the Library and borrow books?

Answer

Overview

Yes, Interrupting students can access the Library and borrow up to 6 items.

For more information see our 'Borrowing Basics'.

Procedure

There can be a delay between the student receiving confirmation from the University that they can interrupt and their data being updated on SITS and synced to Sierra. Advise the student to contact the Student Enquiry Centre to chase this up. If library access is urgent a day ticket pass can be issued (they may not be able to use the kiosk, so use a manual ticket).
