Vending Machine Fault

Overview

Vending machines are managed by the vending machine company.

Procedure

If a library user experiences a problem that requires a refund direct them to call the phone number on the label on the machine. The company will process a refund if applicable.

If the card reader gives the error message "Communicating with VMC" try switching it off at the wall for a minute before turning it back on again.

If there is a fault with a vending machine please put the Out of Order notice up and email catering-administration@qmul.ac.uk and cc' library-environment@qmul.ac.uk.

If the issue is solely related to hot chocolate restock, please attach the poster on slide 92 but leave the machine running as usual.
