Why does an Alumni card not work?

Overview

When an Alumnus wants to access Queen Mary's Library Services, they can apply for an Alumni card online and the Alumni Office post it to them.

On a monthly basis Alumni Office send a spreadsheet with a list of new Alumni to the Enquiries Team with the details of all the new members who wish to use the Library. The Enquiry Team then process the spreadsheet.

Procedure

If an Alumnus comes to the Welcome Desk and their card doesn't work on the gate, allow them entry and notify a member of the Enquiries Team so they can fast-track the account update.
