Thank you for your interest in visiting Queen Mary Libraries. 

I am writing to inform you that your Queen Mary card is now ready for collection at <insert Library> Welcome Desk. Please collect your card during staffed hours (see our Opening Hours pages).

When collecting your card you will need to provide the following:

  • ID showing your name

We will not issue cards without these documents.

 

Please note the following information regarding visitor access to the libraries over the exam period: 

 

Exam Period Restrictions at Mile End Library: Monday 29 April - Sunday 2 June 2024 

Visitor access will be suspended during the exam period from 29 April - 2 June 2024 inclusive at Mile End Library due to increased demand for study spaces & resources.

Visitor access to Whitechapel Library will remain open as usual for those that already have membership, new applicants will be suspended for both libraries during this period.

Visitors include all members of the public, temporary visitors, alumni & all SCONUL bands with current memberships.

All new membership cards created during this period can be picked up from Wednesday 5 June 2024 onwards when regular access will resume.

 

Your membership will end on <insert day, month, year>.

*Please note that Mile End Library will be closed on <insert closure dates>. Whitechapel Library will be closed on <insert closure dates>.

Please note that external visitors do not have borrowing rights or access to PCs or electronic resources, including Wi-Fi (unless they are already part of the Eduroam network) or printing.
