How do I save books and articles in Library Search?

Answer

Books, e-books and DVDs

  1. Search for a book as you usually would, then under 'Additional actions' click the icon of a shopping basket to add to cart.

2. If you logout of your Library account or close the browser at this stage, your saved items will be lost. In order to save permanently, you have to save items to a list.

Once you have a book in your cart, select the 'Save to list' button shown below. You will need to login to your Library account using your barcode and PIN. You can give your list a title and make multiple lists.

3. Go into 'My Account' and select 'My Lists' from the menu on the left hand side. You will be shown all of your saved items in their respective lists

Articles and more

1. As with the book search above, it is possible to save an article in search without logging in. However these will be lost when exiting the window.

You'll need to create a MyEBSCO account in order to save your articles permanently to a project. After searching in the 'Articles and more' tab, click MyEBSCO > Create an account in the top right corner

2. Click the three dots next to the article title and select 'Add to project'

3. You can also save searches to a project. Under 'My dashboard' on the left side of the screen, click on 'Searches' to view your previous searches. Click the three dots next to the search and select 'Add to project'

4. Under 'My dashboard' on the left side of the screen, you can view and organise your Projects
